I have a question

I have these neighbors. I've mentioned them before. We share a bedroom wall. When I first moved in, they pounded on the wall like I was making copious amounts of noise. But for the past year or so, I've been hearing them having sex through the wall. It's always between 1 and 2 am, and it always wakes me up. Last night I went to bed at 10:00, but didn't fall asleep until after 12:30. At 1:30 I was woken up with the oh so familiar thump thump thump, and could only think, "wait for it...." when I heard the woman start screaming.

Now, here comes the question. Was it rude of me to wait until they were so obviously climaxing before beating on the wall? It seemed rude to do it during, but still, I don't want to be hearing this!
