I love Britain. From today's Anorak:
MORE Royal news now as the Mirror shines a light into the dark and gloomy
room where Prince Charles is to marry his Camilla.
"It has a sticky, spotty brown carpet," notes the paper, "scraped paintwork
and electrical fittings in clear view."
We note the presence of a few tatty wall hangings, a portrait of Queen
Victoria on the beige walls and a large bronze chandelier handing from the
centre of the ceiling.
"FIT FOR A KING?" asks the paper. But before we can reply, the Express
chips in.The paper says the whole place is "shabby", which, to our minds, makes
it entirely suited to this wedding.
