Girls Night

It freakin' rocked! Starcie and Tyson came into town, Noel was still here, so we met at Jessie's (along with Jeannie, Bethany and Andrea) and started out with Mary Kay facials. I hate Mary Kay parties with a passion, but with these people, it was bearable. Then again, as soon as we walked in the door, out came the Captain Morgan's.

Which reminds me, Heidi, sorry about Starcie calling you...it was only 7pm or so, but we'd been drinking.

After the Mary Kay specialist left we started the fondue. I made the spinach artichoke dip, while Noel worked on the chocolate dip. We had so much food, and it was GOOD! Noel had also brought Cool Whip and some kind of canned coconut stuff, like cream of coconut or something and mixed it together in a bowl. When you dip graham crackers in it, it tastes just like coconut cream pie. Or if you dip brownies in it, as Jess's husband Jake said, "it tastes just about heavenly."

After dinner, Noel pulled out the blender and made pina coladas. As we were sitting there around the table talking, Tyson pulled off his puzzle ring, you know, one of those that have 5 rings looped together that you can put together in a ring. Anyway, he handed it to Jeannie who was eyeing it. As our conversations tend to do, we started out with dirty jokes and stories, the stories about each other and other friends etc. Just after we talked about sex toys there was a slight lull in the conversation, when Jeannie who wasn't paying attention, due to the ring, yelled out, "I'M SO CLOSE!!" The laughter was instantaneous. It was great.

Though we had several movies to choose from, we only watched Bridget Jones. Then we all were falling asleep so we went home. Jeannie ended up staying at my place that night, but Starcie and Ty decided to drive home after all. So after a short visit at Jason's, we sent them on their way.

I miss my friends! I sort of wish that we hadn't grown up, and we all could still be living together!
