The sweetest and most embarrassing thing...

It seems my mother contacted Bonnie this week (for those of you who don't know, I've babysat for her for 4 years or so, and her kids are in my class) and asked that she do something for me. Bonnie talked to my boss, and Mike (her husband) brought birthday treats for me and the kids today. All the kids sang Happy Birthday to me and kept saying, "happy birthday Ms. Mrichelle!" (That's how most of them say it.) Then, my boss gave me $20 and sent me home early!

Last night Jeannie, Jessie and I went to a Harry Potter literary discussion last night. I felt rather dorkish to tell the truth, but it was fun anyway. Though, when they asked us what we were dressing up as for the party tonight, they gave us shocked death glares when we said we weren't dressing up. We're going to the city library party tonight, but leaving early to get to media play to pick up Jeannie's book. Hopefully, my copy will be at the post office tomorrow. I haven't gotten an email from Amazon yet to say that it's been shipped. The closest I've gotten is one that said they were confident that it would be delivered July 16. By 7:00 pm. It had so better be there way before then!!
